DEPRESSION

Depression is not one single problem. Depression is not one single problem. Instead, it is a combination of many different aspects and issues. These issues involve your health, life experiences (past and present), how you feel, and what you do and think. Depression frequently suggests loss to some degree. You may feel lonely and disconnected from other people. A lack of status, respect and meaningful work may leave you unmotivated and hopeless about the future. You may feel pulled in so many directions. Do you "get on with it" or "wait," or do you think that "nothing you do will change anything?"  Overcoming depression is more than just pulling yourself up from your bootstraps. Treatment involves looking at all aspects of your life to understand how depression persists. I will support and work with you toward recovery.
